Loreal Creme de Mint

When I was 20 I was invited to my mother's friends wedding and there was an open bar. Naturally my date (my roommate at the time) and I ordered everything we could because we weren't carded. As we sat at the bar I saw this green bottle of liquer and was instantly intrigued and requested the bartender create a special concoction with this kryptonite (yeah I was bit tipsy at this point).

Long story short, it was like drinking a Listerine margarita. To this day, I have never had as much regret over an alcoholic beverage as I did with creme de menthe.

Creme de Mint is a light medium green jelly polish from Loreal's spring/summer release of the gellie polishes.

Creme de Mint is sheer but builds up beautifully! This is three coats and still has a little visible nail line so a fourth coat could fix that. The formula was great and not streaky at all.

Have you ever tried Creme de Menthe in an alcoholic drink? What is the worst drink you've ever had?

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. That story crack me up, lol. Great swatches! I have this polish and I love how versatile the formula is.

  2. I can't believe I'm just now finding your blog. I love that bottle of creme de menthe and the green polish is also gorgeous on you :)
