Happy New Year everyone! My break was definitely longer than expected but i'm glad to be back. I know the weather was terrible across most of the country so I hope that you're mostly thawed out and doing well.
Before the move, I ordered my first polishes from Enchanted Polish and received them mid December and am just now getting around to swatching them.
Firstly, this brand is tough to get your hands on. When restocks are announced and go live these polishes sell out literally, within one minute. That is not an exaggeration, it's a fact. Purchasing these polishes was my first experience with Enchanted Polish and it was really luck of the draw that I got the entire collection. Was it worth the hype? Let's find out.
October 2013 has a deep slate grey base with a linear holographic finish in certain lighting. The formula was very good and full coverage in one coat. I really love this shade and it looked great and still holo in normal lighting and shade.
November 2013 has a cherry red base with a weak linear holographic finish. The formula on this one was good and slightly jelly. This is two coats. The holographic finish is only visible with strong bright light, like the flash on my camera, otherwise there is no party on your nails.
Holiday 2013 has a deep plum base with a weak linear holographic finish. This shade was a complete mystery while ordering which was sorta fun trying to guess what it would be. It has a good formula and slightly jelly. This is three coats. Like November 2013, it needs bright light to get a rainbow effect and in low lighting you can't tell much at all.
Of these three, October 2013 is my favorite hands down. One coater, looks great in virtually all lighting. November and Holiday will look great outdoors on a really sunny day but definitely won't distract you while at work.
