Rue 21 No Names

Today I bring you these awesome polishes from Rue 21. I originally found out about these lovelies from Breezy The Nail Polish Love on her facebook page and decided to see what Rue 21 had to offer. I picked up these four.

I have two gripes with these polishes. 1. They have no names is it really so hard to slap a name on a polish? 2. The brush is wonky. I thought perhaps it was a one bottle fluke but each brush is sorta flattened and curves to either the left or the right. It didn't effect application much but just a slight bother.

One thing to note is that the manufacturer of these polishes is Blue Cross. The same company that makes the snow man and pumpkin polishes around the holidays.

The above is a red based plum creme with no shimmer. The formula was great and perfect in two coats.

The above is a blue heavy teal creme with no shimmer. Same with the above, perfect formula and opaque in two coats.

The above polish is a slightly green tinged grey with color shifting shimmer. I love this one. Like the other two, perfect in two coats. Such an interesting and unique shade I really like this for fall.

The above is a hot pink creme base packed with bright blue (reads purple in my photos) round glitter in varying sizes. This polish is eye searing! This is three thin coats with a thick coat of gel top coat.

Overall I am very pleased with these polishes, especially the very unique shimmer and glitter polish. Tell me what you think and thanks for stopping by.
