Happy Hump Day folks! Has spring weather arrived where you live? It sure has here in South Carolina. We have had amazing temps in the high 80s and low 90s for the past 4 days!
Today I have swatches from a new indie polish maker: Marbles for Polish.

The God has a sheer black jelly base with silver shimmer, small blue round glitter, small red hex glitter and gold shards. The formula was nice and glitter coverage was great with no fishing required. I layered two coats over one coat of Wet n Wild - Black Creme, and sealed with top coat.

The Mechanic has a cherry red jelly base with small round and hex shaped gold holographic glitter. The formula was great with this polish and is opaque in two coats.

Marbles for Polish can be purchased on Etsy here and be sure to like their Facebook page.

So which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments and thanks for stopping by.

Zoya Payton

Good Morning everyone! Hope your day is going well. Today I bring you a beautiful polish from one of my favorite brands: Zoya!

Payton is a deep berry jelly packed with fine holographic glitter. The formula was very good, consistent with Zoyas, this is two coats without basecoat or topcoat.

I purchased these during Zoya's Halloween sale where I bought two and got one free. Zoya frequently has sales throughout the year so be sure to follow them on facebook for updates.

I think this shade is perfect for fall and winter, especially for parties because when the light hits it your nails literally light up! Tell me what you think in the comments and thanks for stopping by.

Today I bring to you some great polishes from Pipedream Polish. It was hard to limit my choices to these three colors but i'm really happy with these shades and plan on ordering the rest, lol.
Eternal Summer Slacking has a white crelly base packed with yellow, gray, and turquoise hex glitter and turquoise small round glitter. This polish is so much fun! The formula was good and opaque in 2-3 coats. No fishing required.

Life Divine has a lavander/lilac crelly base with deep blue, turqouise, green and white glitters. This polish reminds me of a field of flowers. Same as the previous polish, opaque in 2-3 coats and no fishing for glitters.

Candy on The Beach is described as made up of medium and fine iridescent hex glitters that shift from coral/red/orange/gold in a coral base with red to orange color shift. This is my absolute favorite of this bunch. The base was sheer so I layers over one coat of Essence Off to Miami.

I love the look of the gold glitter trapped inside of the jelly base and it does look like candy!

Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments and thanks for stopping by.

Today I bring to you one of my first hardcore lemmings. The moment I saw swatches of this polish I knew I had to have it. Luckily I caught a Good Morning America deal for a set of Deborah Lippmann minis with this shade in it.

Raspberry Beret is a berry jelly polish with gold shifting flakes. The formula is good and a bit sheer I think I would use a base similarly colored next time. My photos show two thick coats.

This color is perfect for fall and with the flakies it really makes it unique. Thanks for stopping by.

This summer has had some of the best releases when it comes to nail polish (makeup was a bit underwhelming for me this season). China Glaze release a collection of summer neons which consisted of creams and jellies, exciting right? Well based on reviews (and experience) the formulas on these were a bit of a let down. But, being the polish obsessed lady I am I had to give in to a few and I bring you one of them today.

Loreal Creme de Mint

When I was 20 I was invited to my mother's friends wedding and there was an open bar. Naturally my date (my roommate at the time) and I ordered everything we could because we weren't carded. As we sat at the bar I saw this green bottle of liquer and was instantly intrigued and requested the bartender create a special concoction with this kryptonite (yeah I was bit tipsy at this point).

Long story short, it was like drinking a Listerine margarita. To this day, I have never had as much regret over an alcoholic beverage as I did with creme de menthe.

Creme de Mint is a light medium green jelly polish from Loreal's spring/summer release of the gellie polishes.

Creme de Mint is sheer but builds up beautifully! This is three coats and still has a little visible nail line so a fourth coat could fix that. The formula was great and not streaky at all.

Have you ever tried Creme de Menthe in an alcoholic drink? What is the worst drink you've ever had?

Thanks for stopping by.

Loreal Lolly Jolly

Late spring Loreal launched their limited edition Miss Candy nail collection for summer with polishes in a gellie (jelly) formula. Polish peoples went crazy and I was one of them. I own almost all of them and they are fantastic!

They are sheer polishes and meant to be and have a translucent finish that is a bit reminicent of jello. These are great for layering with glitter polishes to make a 'jelly sandwich'.

Lolly Jolly is a sheer bright red with a great formula. Opacity is questionable depending on the amount of visible nail line you have. If you want complete coverage and no visible nail line I would recommend layering over white or a red creme polish the same shade.

This really looked like I was wearing little slabs of red jello on my nails, I loved it Thanks for stopping by.

Slowly Lottie Dottie

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend.

Today's post comes courtesy of my untried drawer in my Melmer. This spring I bought a few polishes I had been lemming forever by KB Shimmer. I was able to maintain my sanity and only purchase three but that number definitely will grow, trust me.

Wet N Wild - Slowly Teal and See: Not actually teal at all, but a gorgeous bright blue creme with a great formula.

KB Shimmer - Lottie Dottie: A milky jelly base with pink and blue round glitter, pink and blue micro glitter, and pink and blue small bar glitter.

I was instantly drawn to this polish after seeing swatches and the name (my two youngest sisters share the name). I will be wearing Lottie Dottie again soon it was opaque in three smooth coats and no fishing for glitter at all.

Do you own any KB Shimmer polishes? If so which are your faves? Thanks for stopping by.

July 30, 2013

I bought this polish in a set from TJ Maxx over the summer with nice springy peaches and pinks. The formula on this one was great a nice peachy milky jelly that applied like butter. This is three coats. There is still visible nail line but undies could fix that.

Then I decided to stamp over it with some nail plates I bought a few years ago on Amazon with Wet n' Wild French Creme.
